Nynke Gude - Project Leader

My name is Nynke, I am studying hotel management at Stenden university. Originally I come from Amsterdam, but I have been studying in Leeuwarden for three years now. I am honord to organise the MPI Next Generation. Or team is putting a lot of effort in this project to make it a success. I am the project leader and this will be a great opportunity to improve my skills. This project will give all of us the experience in the event industry and we want to help others to have this experience as well. I hope this event will be a great success, and experience. Hope to see you all 14 January at the World Forum The Hague.

Ines Wirdeman - Assistant Project Leader

My name is Ines Wirdemann and I am from the northern part of Germany. I love travelling and went abroad to the U.S. already for 13months. Afterwards I started studying at Stenden University because I obtained the opportunity to keep my English and to travel furthermore. I went to Thailand for one module where a partner university of Stenden is located. When I came back I thought its time for a change! Since I studied IHM for 2.5 years now I chose the minor event management. Because of the fact that we obtained the honor to organize the World Forum Next Generation event I am quite excited to do so and maybe this experience will have an influence on my future career possibilities.

Ymke Pol - Marketing Manager

My name is Ymke Pol and I am an IHM student from Stenden. I am very honoured to organize the World Forum Next Generation Event. I am the marketing manager of our team and have the responsibility that we sending out the right message. Moreover it is very important to attract as much students as possible so this is a very big responsibility but with help of the right tools we to attract the students to our event. I am very interested in the event industry so this is a good opportunity to have a close look how everything is organized so I am very motivated to work on this project.

I hope this event will be very successful and we will help a lot of interested students into the event industry!

Akke Maria Koolstra - Financial Manager

My name is Akke Maria Koolstra and I’m 21 years old. Since 2009, I am a student of the Retail Business School at Stenden University Leeuwarden. My function in this team is Finance manager. My responsibilities are to control the budget, finding sponsors and to develop a sponsor plan. Also I am available to help every team member where I can. It is a nice opportunity to have the chance to organize such an event. It is really a challenge for all of us. I hope it is going to be a great success and an inspiring day for all the students who will be there. It feels like an honor to help students with their future career by organizing this event and we will do everything what is needed to make it a great succes!

Lucia Filippone - Content Manager

My name is Lucia Filippone and I’m Swiss-Italian girl. I come from Lugano, a small city in the southern part of Switzerland, close to the Italian border. I studied for three years Tourism in Switzerland and I’m spending my last two semesters of school at the Stenden University in Leeuwarden. During my internship I worked at the Airport of Zurich and at the Zurich Marriot hotel learning a lot about the culture of service and how to deal with different languages and cultures.

My responsibility at the World Forum Next Generation Event is to guarantee a qualitative and interesting program finding the right mix within the content. I’m sure that combining the creativity and the enthusiasm of the organizing team, we can create a successful event.

Bas Bakhuis - Marketing Manager

My name is Bas Bakhuis, I'm 22 years old and I live in Leeuwarden. This is also where I studie (Media and Entertainment Management) My expertise lies more in media managing than event managing, but I feel confident that the group and me make a great team! My passions are to make movies, photoshops and all manner of creative content. For this event, I am the Marketing Mananger. So it's my job to get you to the event. I hope to add my knowledge to this diverse and creative group and create a concept that will intice and gratify you as well as entertain and educate you!
